A Safe Space for Women
My name is Sumayyah, and I offer online counselling for women who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure where to begin. You may be carrying anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or private struggles that feel too heavy to face alone.
I provide a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard and understood.
My approach is person-centred, integrative, and trauma-informed. I understand how past experiences can shape how we feel, relate, and cope in the present. As a trained trauma-informed counsellor, I prioritise emotional safety, trust, and collaboration in our work together. Therapy moves at your pace, and you remain in control of what you choose to explore.
As a Muslim woman, I understand and empathise with the unique challenges many Muslim women may face. At the same time, I warmly welcome women of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. I deeply respect each person’s values, identity, and lived experience, and I work with care, cultural sensitivity, and compassion.
I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in accordance with their ethical framework.

Taking the first step can feel daunting. That is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation, either by telephone or via Microsoft Teams.
This initial meeting gives you space to share what you are hoping to work through and the type of support you are looking for. I will also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have.
After our conversation, I will send you a counselling agreement and you can decide, without pressure, whether I feel like the right fit for you.
You can book your consultation easily through my online calendar at a time that suits you.
